KOLKATA: The Finance Ministry of the state government has unveiled a portal with the aim to recover tax arrears of all types.

Finance Minister Amit Mitra informed that with the unveiling of the e-receipt portal system, the state government would be in a position to collect all tax dues from different sources.

The new system would also bring in transparency, cut fraud and also surge tax collection in West Bengal.

The designated banks would be collecting money and then it would be deposited in the treasury.
