JAIPUR: Centre has given nod to Rs 899.24-crore investment recommendation for developing a section of National Highway 758 in Rajasthan. It gave nod to a project worth more than Rs 600 crore for two-laning of the Salasar-Haryana border section of NH 65.
The Cabinet Committee on Infrastructure has okayed the investment recommendation for four-laning of the Rajasamand-Bhilwara section of National Highway 758 in Rajasthan.
The overall cost of the project that will be implemented under the Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer (DBFOT) pattern will stands Rs 899.24 crore, out of which Rs 221.45 crore will go for land acquisition, rehabilitation, resettlement and pre-construction costs.
The overall length of the project will be 87.250 km. It will run via the districts of Rajasamand and Bhilwara in Rajasthan.
The aim is to bring improvement in infrastructure in Rajasthan and also lower the time and cost of travel between Rajasamand and Bhilwara.
