KOLKATA: UCO Bank has registered 24% jump in net profit to Rs 362 crore in the quarter ended June 30, 2012 as against Rs 293 crore during the same period last year.
The overall interest income rose by 29% to Rs 1,044 crore in the June quarter as compared to Rs 808 crore seen during the same period last year. The percentage of gross non-performing assets (NPA) to advances climbed to 3.88% and the net NPAs rose to 2.23% in June quarter.
UCO Bank, a commercial bank, provides retail banking, corporate banking, treasury, and other banking services to individual and corporate customers.
