MUMBAI: Tree House Education and Accessories Limited, a pre-school chain company, has registered net profit of Rs 5.06 crore during the March 2012 quarter, 17.3% decline from the quarter ended December 2011. The fall was mainly due to the expenditure made for establishing 75 new centres of the pre-school. The net profit for FY 2012 stood at Rs 21.6 crore, 138% rise from Rs 9.19 crore for the complete FY 2011.
Rajesh Bhatia, Promoter and Managing Director, Tree House, said, “Tree House results reflect the over all growth in the students at our centers, we are capturing significant market share in the cities we are present in. The past 6 months have seen Tree House create substantial student intake capacity across the country. We are seeing huge traction for admission for the next academic year which will lead to margin expansion both on the PAT and EBITDA front.”
