Toshiba India aims 5-fold jump in biz turnover to Rs 5,000 cr in three years

BHUBANESWAR: Toshiba India eyeing for a five-fold increase in its business turnover in the country to Rs 5,000 crore in three years.
 
Shinichi Mizuuchi, head of TV Business-DS Division of Toshiba India, said, “Our business turnover which is projected at around Rs 1,000 crore in 2012-13, is expected to increase to around Rs 5,000 crore during 2014-2015.”
 
At present, company's market share stands at close to 9 per cent and the company is expecting that it may raise up to 20 per cent in the country in 2014.
 
In attempts to achieve the targeted market share, the company has carefully planned a marketing strategy which is in line with its brand marketing campaign.
 
The company aims to market about one million PCs and over two million TVs during the next one year, Toshiba India’s Vice President, Sales and Field Marketing, Pranab Mohanty said.
