NEW DELHI: Going by the latest Annual Citi/Knight Frank Wealth Report, Delhi and Mumbai have succeeded in getting enlisted in the list for top global cities index. The report further projected that in coming 10 years, certain booming markets including in Asian countries would register strong growth.
While Delhi and Mumbai managed to grab 37th and 38th position respectively, the top spot at the list was easily grabbed by New York, only to be followed by London and Paris. Other cities who made it to the list were Toronto, Tokyo, Los Angeles, Berlin, Singapore as well as Brussels.
While the list chiefly comprised of North American and European countries, the coming decade spells in high favour of other emerging cities taking over the list such as Sao Paulo, Mumbai and Moscow as each one of them expects a jump by at least six to eight slots. However, New York and London are still likely to retain their top slot in the list.
