Tata Docomo revises wireless Internet service' tariffs

MUMBAI: Tata Docomo, a GSM service operator, has announced 60% cut in its tariffs for its wireless Internet service under the Tata Photon Plus brand name. The cut will be applicable or both prepaid and postpaid customers besides a cash-back offer for the postpaid users.

Tata Docomo is the telecom brand of Tata Teleservices.

According to the new tariff plan, the postpaid customers are allowed to select from unlimited 6GB usage for just Rs 950 rental or unlimited 11 GB for Rs 1,200. These two unlimited plans also provide cash back of Rs 100 per month for 12 months from the purchasing date.

Moreover, the entry-level packs will be worth Rs 250 that provides 1GB of data download as against Rs 650 in the past. Similarly, Rs 450 pack, which was worth Rs 750, will provide 2GB now.

For the first time, the company also unveiled reload packs for postpaid customers with 1GB data download at Rs 200 and 2GB at Rs 350.
