Tantia Constructions appoints US Roy as independent director

NEW DELHI: Tantia Constructions Ltd has appointed Mr US Roy as an independent director of the firm. He was the former managing director and CEO of SBI Life Insurance Co. Ltd. and also the deputy managing director of State Bank of India (SBI).

Mr Murare Lal Agarwal as the whole-time director of the firm. This decision was taken at the board of directors meeting held on December 16.

The company is engaged in providing general civil infrastructure solutions. The firm is involved in executing infrastructure projects. The Company's segments include roads and highways, urban infrastructure, railway infrastructure, aviation infrastructure, power transmission, marine infrastructure, and industrial. The Company is engaged in the construction, widening, conversion and maintenance of roadways, road bridges, highways and flyovers.
