GURGAON: Sistema Shyam Teleservices Ltd (SSTL), a telecom services operator under the MTS brand, has unveiled two android-based smartphones under the affordable range of consumers.
The two new smartphones are named as - MTS Livewire and MTS MTAG 3.1 are aimed at the technology freak young generation.
The MTS Livewire and MTS MTAG 3.1 are priced below the range of Rs 5,000 and operate on Android 2.2 Froyo and runs on CDMA EV-DO network. The company also offers features like free talk time, SMSs and data usage along with the smartphones. The company has positioned the two smart phones as social media enablers for the youth community.

Google Mail, YouTube, Google Talk and Google Maps are easily accessible through the MTS Livewire. Its 'Voice Search' feature enables users search for information into the device by speaking.
MTS MTAG 3.1 is a touch-screen phone supporting multi-format audio/video player with 3.5mm jack, MTS MTAG 3.1 is packed with a 3.2 megapixel camera.
