NEW DELHI: The prices of silver fell by Rs 124 to Rs 54,850 per kg at futures trade today since the speculators lowered positions amid poor trend in Asian region and weak demand.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the silver for delivery in September slipped 0.23% with a business turnover of 254 lots.
Likewise, the silver for delivery in July fell by Rs 119 or 0.20% to Rs 53,556 per kg with a business turnover of 1,625 lots.
In Singapore, silver went down 0.54% to $27.39 an ounce.
