Shriram General Insurance wins 'Excellence in Growth Award'

MUMBAI: General insurer Shriram General Insurance has received the 'Excellence in Growth Award'.

The company was offered the recongnition for displaying growth excellence in the general insurance sector. It is under the 'Excellence in Growth Award 2012' category at the Indian Insurance Awards 2012 held here.

SGICL MD and CEO JS Gujral said, “We are extremely proud to have SGICL be chosen for the ‘Excellence in Growth Award 2012’. This award is a testimony to our continuous efforts towards introducing innovative products and solutions for our customers.”

The Chennai-based firm rose its customer base from 12.2 lakh to 17.3 lakh during FY12 and also surged its market share to over 30%.
