NEW DELHI: The Mumbai-based pre-school brand Serra International, is looking forward for aggressive expansion across India.
The brand is aspiring to open around 75 schools by the end of the year in the major focus areas are Delhi, NCR, Gujarat, Punjab, Haryana, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and other big cities.
The company will undertake the expansion with a blend of franchise and company-owned schools.
The company is seeking an investment of Rs 12-17 lakhs and an area of 2,000 to 3,000 sq. ft from the franchisee end in an attempt to partner the company. At present, Serra operates more than 30 schools across the nation.
Serra International is the pre-school arm of the education group, Edvance Pre-Schools Pvt. Ltd (India) and a joint venture with EtonHouse, a pre-school chain of Singapore. The curriculum of the school is based on the Reggio Emilia approach, which is an educational philosophy focused on preschool and primary education.
