MUMBAI: BSE Sensex slipped by 354 points, ending its four-week gaining streak, to touch one month low of 17,429.56.
The 30-share index earlier this week reached a high of 17,820.07, but then fell for most of the week and reached low of 17,337.61 before the end of the week at 17,429.56, displaying net loss of 353.65, or 1.99%.
The index rose 944.02 points or 5.61% in the past four weeks.
Nifty fell by 128.20 points or 2.38% to end at 5,258.50. It rose 286.85 points or 5.62% in the last four weeks.
