NEW DELHI: Rajesh Chaturvedi has been announced as the new commercial director of Indraprastha Gas Ltd. (IGL), which is the lone supplier of CNG or compressed natural gas as well as piped cooking gas in the capital city of India. Prior to joining IGL, Chaturvedi was the General Manager of Retail Sales in BPCL at Noida. He completed his post graduation in history and mathematics apart from possessing a diploma in IR and Personnel.
In a statement, IGL claimed, “Chaturvedi brings to IGL a rich and diverse experience spanning over 32 years in retail, aviation and lubricants businesses apart from human resource development gained during his service in Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL)”.
Chaturvedi claims the position from Manmohan Singh who has returned to BPCL, his parent organisation, as Executive Director of Engineer Services and Marketing. IGL happens to be a joint venture firm of BPCL and GAIL India Ltd. in conjunction with the Government of Delhi.
