NEW DELHI: Prabhat Khabar, a Hindi daily of Jharkhand, has forayed into Muzaffarpur city of Bihar on October 10. All the pages of Muzaffarpur edition will be coloured and is priced at Rs 3. It has invested nearly Rs 8-10 crore for setting up a printing unit for this Muzaffarpur edition.
The newspaper announced that it will soon introduce its Bhagalpur edition. In the past, Prabhat Khabar had forayed into Patna. The Muzaffarpur edition is expected to witness stiff competition from other Hindi newspapers like Dainik Jagran and Hindustan.
