Port of Antwerp demands investment opportunities in India

NEW DELHI: Port of Antwerp, one of the most prominent European ports, is eyeing for investment opportunities in India. But, so far nothing has been finalised. An European mainport that does not display much interest in India, does not have at all any future, said Mr Marc Van Peel, Chairman, Port of Antwerp, at CII conference.

Antwerp port has got a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Essar Ports to cooperate in the areas of training, strategic investment. Mr Peel has stated that Antwerp Port is holding talks with Essar Ports, but no decisions have been boosted yet.
