PUNE: In India, after establishing its first R&D centre in Noida, Pitney Bowes Inc is introducing the second one in Pune.
Pitney Bowes Software’s Indian Managing Director, Manish Choudhary confirmed, “Pune has a strong talent pool and is a mature software product development destination. It boasts of 12 per cent of Software Product Development headcount in India, is an education and research hub, and this is one of the main reasons why we chose to set up our second R&D centre here. With the opening of this centre, we hope to incubate, sustain and support local talent and maintain high quality of contributions and value to Pitney Bowes.”
The centre will concentrate on research and development for its global portfolio, along with Volly- a digital mailbox solution. Moreover, it will help Pitney Bowes to expand capacity for local and global business demands. With more than 600 employees working across business units, headquartered in Noida, Pitney Bowes Software has had its presence in India since 2007.
