HYDERABAD: The iron ore mining company National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC), has signed a contract agreement with a consortium comprising Siemens VAI, Austria, SVAI India and NCC Ltd, for turnkey execution of a Sinter Plant Complex at Nagarnar Steel Plant in Chhattisgarh.
This is the first contract amongst the nine main technological packages for the 3 MTPA Integrated Steel Plant at Nagarnar in Chhattisgarh and the cost of the project is about Rs 760 crore, according to the statement issued by the NMDC.
The NMDC limited is fully owned by the Government of India and is under administrative control of the Ministry of Steel.It is involved in the exploration of iron ore, copper, rock phosphate, limestone, dolomite, gypsum, bentonite, magnesite, diamond, tin, tungsten, graphite etc.
