Nikhil Bhatia to head CBRE India's Western Region operations

MUMBAI: The commercial real estate services firm CBRE has announced the appointment of Nikhil Bhatia as head of western region.

At present, Nikhil Bhatia co-heads the capital markets business for CBRE in India, and shall assume the additional responsibility of managing the firm's operations for the region.

Bhatia holds a rich experience in the real estate business both as a service provider as well as an Investment Manager. In his previous engagement with CBRE, he was responsible for the Transaction Management business for the firm in Mumbai, wherein his responsibilities encompassed diverse asset classes.

Besides, in his past stint with Credit Suisse, Bhatia was jointly responsible for investing equity and structured capital to the extent of $200 million in real estate projects across the hospitality, infrastructure, residential and office sectors.
