MUMBAI: NIIT Technologies Ltd, an IT solutions firm, has inked a pact to purchase Sabre Holdings' Philippines Development Center. Sabre is an international technology firm and also considered as the leading provider of solutions for the travel industry. It is a prominent customer of NIIT Technologies.
Arvind Thakur, Chief Executive Officer, NIIT Technologies, said, “The acquisition fits well with our strategy of 'Focus and Differentiate' and enhances our global delivery footprint.”
The purchase will enhance NIIT Technologies' engagement with Sabre and also boost its interantional delivery capability. Manila is considered as a proven destination for Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) services. NIIT Technologies will be offering services to Sabre and also to its other customers from the Manila center.
