NALCO's SS Mahapatra elected as member of FIMI Managing Committee

KOLKATA: SS Mahapatra, director (production), National Aluminium Company Limited ( NALCO), the state-owned aluminium producer, has been selected as member of the Managing Committee and Vice-Chairman of Standing Committee for Non-Ferrous Mineral Industries of Federation of Indian Mineral Industries (FIMI).

Incepted in 1966, FIMI is a 350-member body, representing the entire non-fuel mining and mineral processing activities of the country.

Mahapatra, with his high skilled expertise and rich experience, is expected to contribute a great deal in FIMI's attempt to promote considerable development through scientific mining and optimal utilisation of natural resources in the country.
