Morarka Organic looks to expand 'Down to Earth' via franchise route

NEW DELHI: Morarka Organic, the marketing arm of Morarka Foundation, is planning to expand its organic food brand 'Down to Earth' across the India via franchise route.

In the same development, the company teamed up with Francorp India, a part of Franchise India Group.

Mukesh Gupta, Executive Director, Morarka Organics said, “Organic food business may arguably be one of the best franchise businesses in the world today. Organically grown foods are becoming increasingly popular as people have started becoming more conscious about their health and the quality of food they eat. With modern consumers slowly but surely shifting towards healthier alternatives, the future looks bright for the organic food industry.”

Under the alliance, Francorp will recognise the current business model and product mix for ‘Down to Earth' by developing its franchise model and franchisee proposition. Further, it will develop the comprehensive strategy to capture a larger target audience.
