NEW DELHI: Mobile phone manufacturer Micromax has announced the launch of a new Android Gingerbread handset 'Superfone A84 Elite' which features a 3.97-inch capacitive IPS WVGA display at a price of Rs 9,999. The Android 2.3-powered phone features a 10.1cm IPS WVGA display that supports multi-touch and runs on a 1GHz processor.
The superfone comes pre-installed with Aisha, Micromax's voice assistant. Besides, the mobile phone also boasts of a 1630mAh battery that can handle 5 hours of talk time and 160 hours of standby. The smartphone also equipped with a 1GHz processor and a 5 megapixel rear camera. The brand has also added a 0.3 megapixel front camera that can be useful for video calling over Skype. Users can expand the memory of the A84 Superfone Elite up to 32GB.
The connectivity options in the device include Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi and 3G. It also features GPS with A-GPS functionality for location tracking.
