Mercedes-Benz introduces its latest offering, G55 AMG in Indian market

MUMBAI: Mercedes-Benz, a Germany-based car manufacturer, recently made a formal announcement of introducing its latest offering, G55 AMG, a G-class Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) in the Indian market. The car model belongs to the G-class and is placed at an introductory price of Rs 1.10 crore.

As per the company statement, as many as 20 advance bookings have already been registered by customers across India. The company would be rolling out the units of the launched model latest by the end of this month. Debashis Mitra, Director (Sales and Marketing) for Mercedes-Benz India further elaborated that the company has so far managed to sellout as many as 2 lakh units of the whole G-class so far across the globe and is looking forward to accomplish the same rate of success in Indian market as well.

The G55 AMG is touted as the fastest SUV Indian market has ever received. The model boasts of largest engine which runs with the capacity to run 100 kph in just a matter of 5.5. seconds.
