MBF of KIC Metaliks shuts down for realignment

KOLKATA: KIC Metaliks Ltd has stopped the working of Mini Blast Furnace at its Durgapur Plant from 31 august, 2012, for a period of 30 days. The reason for ceasing the furnace is stated to be repairing and renovation. Therefore, the Durgapur Plant of the corporation will not take any responsibility of Pig iron production in this time period.

The company has been serving the sector of pipes, cement, iron castings, faultless tubes and foundry grad pig iron from 1971. It is located in the urban area of Durgapur and Barddhaman in the state of West Bengal.

At present, the company is on its toes to cover up the targeted revenue for the ongoing years as well as developing itself in all the major aspects to expand and include more modernization to its accessible facilities.
