NEW DELHI: Matrix Cellular has lowers its international roaming rates up to 50 per cent this summer.
With the effectiveness of this offer, the people travelling to the UK this summer can now call back home for Re 1 per minute and receive free incoming calls. On the contrary, traditional mobile operators charge anywhere between Rs 80-Rs 100 a minute.
In addition, the customers who are active on e-mails or other social media sites on their smartphones can also activate data services on their handheld at just one-tenth the cost of international data roaming charges.
With the new Global Blackberry SIM, the customers can get unlimited access to emails, browsing, BBM, Facebook and Twitter in over 150 countries at £50 (about Rs 4,000).
Arun Batra, CEO, Matrix, said, “With the onset of the holiday season, these tariff reductions spell huge benefits for holidaymakers and business visitors as customers are now able to save a great deal of money as compared to any other option.”
