Mahindra Satyam appoints TN Manoharan, Ravindra Kulkarni as additional directors

MUMBAI: IT major Mahindra Satyam today said it has appointed T N Manoharan and Ravindra Kulkarni as additional directors on its board.

“T N Manoharan and Ravindra Kulkarni are co-opted as additional directors on the Board of the Company, wef July 18, 2012,” as per the statement issued by the company.

Company's government-nominated board members - Manoharan and Ashok Kacker - had discontinued to be directors on the board of the company with effect from July 16, in compliance with a letter by Ministry of Corporate Affairs.

The government has nominated Manoharan to the company board. He was the past President of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and has served as the Audit Committee Chairman till July 15, 2012.

Moreover, he has also been a member of the Advisory Board on Banks, Commercial and Financial Frauds (ABBCF) constituted by Central Vigilance Commission.
