MUMBAI: Automobile major Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) registered a increase of 44.17 per cent in its net profit at Rs 874.48 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2012.
In the corresponding period of the last fiscal, the company had posted a net profit of Rs 606.54 crore.
Company's net sales increased to Rs 9,241.28 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2012 as against Rs 6,633.84 crore for the same quarter year ago.
For the year ended March 2012, the consolidated net profit of the company stood at Rs 3,126.66 crore as compared to Rs 3079.73 crore for the same period previous fiscal. Net sales for full year 2011-12 increased to Rs 58,241.40 crore from Rs 36,009.65 crore for FY'11.
