Madison forms JV with UK ad firm, launches BMB India

NEW DELHI: Advertising major Madison Media has entered into an 50:50 joint venture with the UK-based company Beattie McGuinness Bungay (BMB) to launch BMB India. BMB is a creative hot shop founded by globally renowned advertising personality Trevor Beattie.

Madison World’s advertising business of mc2 will be merged into the JV to provide creative advertising services in India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. The board of the new entity will include BMB partners—Trevor Beattie and Andrew McGuinness—and Madison World chairman and managing director Sam Balsara, as well as his daughter, Lara Balsara.

Trevor Beattie, Founding Partner at BMB, said, “We can’t wait to get started. There’s always been a strong cultural bond between the ad communities of India and the UK.”

BMB was set up in 2005 by three prominent advertising professionals from the UK —Trevor Beattie, Andrew McGuinness and Bil Bungay.
