I'rom Pharmaceuticals and Kyowa Pharmaceuticals are the two wholly-owned auxiliaries of Lupin in Japan and with these, Lupin has developed seven to eight oncology drugs through co-development and in-licensing.
The company is all set to open an exclusive packaging plant in Sanda for oncology products. As far as manufacturing is concerned, the plan is active and very soon Lupin might set up a manufacturing unit in Japan.
For the existing financial year, Lupin is targeting sales of around $250 millions that could double over in the next five years.
