HYDERABAD: Lufthansa Cargo and GMR Group have inked a pact to develop Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) into an established South Asian cargo hub.
As per the arrangement, Lufthansa would cater to the transportation of the temperature-sensitive cargo for the airport. “We see a lot of growth potential for export for temperature-sensitive pharma products,” said, Martin Schlingensiepen, Vice-President (Product Management), Lufthansa Cargo.
The agreement would result into a high-tech facility at the airport, which would give assured solutions to temperature-controlled transport issues.
