NEW DELHI: L&T Construction has bagged Rs 1076-crore orders across various businesses during the three months period from April to June this year.
Company's metallurgical and material handling unit has secured a Rs 407 crore order from Bajaj Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd to institute a coal handling system on turnkey basis for its green field 3x660 MW thermal power project in Lalitpur, Uttar Pradesh.
The coal handling plant package will be completed in 22 months. The scope of work of L&T constitutes supply and erection and commissioning of the package.
Moreover, the company 's power transmission and distribution division received new orders worth Rs 669 crore in domestic and international markets.
