MUMBAI: Engineering major Larsen & Toubro's construction arm L&T Construction has secured orders worth Rs 1,063 crore across various business segments in during the last month (August).
An order worth Rs 377 crore has been awarded by Delhi Metro for constructing an elevated viaduct and stations, part of Phase-III of the Delhi Metro project.
In its railways business segment, the company has received a Rs 212 crore order from Rail Vikas Nigam. The scope of the work includes the doubling of Rewari-Manheru section on the Bikaner division from North Western Railway in August.
Moreover, the company has also bagged Rs 474 crore orders in its building and factories segment, the scope of the order involves design and construction of an IT campus in South India and construction of residential towers in Mumbai.
