Konkan Railway to unveil non-monsoon time table today

PANAJI: The Konkan Railway will unveil non-monsoon time table for mail / express and passenger trains, which are operational on its route, from today with the aim to ensure safety and also due to the heavy rainfall in Konkan along with the geographical condition of the region.

According to the Non-monsoon time table - Train No 50104 'Ratnagiri Dadar' passenger train will depart 0530 hrs from Ratnagiri (in place of 0600 hrs). The train No 16515/16516 Yashavantpur-Mangalore- Yashavantpur to Karwar (tri-weekly) has been extended. The date of extension of this train will be out soon, according to a Konkan Railway release.

Moreover, the new trains declared in the Railway Budget 2011 are as - 19262/19261 Porbunder-Kochuveli-Porbunder Express (weekly), 19260/19259 Bhavnagar-Kochuveli- Bhavnagar Express (weekly). The date of introduction of the above trains will be declared soon.
