KOLKATA: Indplas’12, which will aim to enhance excellence in plastics sector and also promote brand India as a sought after sourcing platform, will lay special focus on the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and is slated to be held here from October 5-8.
This three-day event, which will be organised by the Indian Plastics Federation (IPF), will witness the presence of over 350 participants consisting players from Taiwan, China, Korea and Bangladesh will participate at the four-day exhibition.
The organisers are eyeing to bag investment recommendations in the state's plastic producing sector which is worth Rs 300 crore in the exhibition.
The organiser has announced that it will be taking initiatives for strengthening the participation of local MSMEs at the event.
Moreover, this event will be having a theme pavilion that will display better utilisation of non-degradable plastic products.
