MUMBAI: Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd saw 9.87% decline in net profit to Rs 391.7 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2012 as compared to Rs 434.6 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2011.
The overall income stood at Rs 6032.3 million in the quarter ended June 30, 2012 as against to Rs5664.2 million in the same quarter of 2011, witnessing 6.50% jump.
The earnings per share (EPS) of Rs.2.69 was clocked in the quarter ended June 30, 2012 as against Rs 2.98 in the quarter ended June 30, 2011.
Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited is engaged in the design, manufacture, and distribution of diesel engines, agricultural pumpsets, and generating sets. It provides air-cooled and liquid-cooled diesel engines; power generation engines, such as DV series; engines operating on alternative fuels, such as bio-diesel, natural gas, biogas, and straight vegetable oil; and large engines comprising marine propulsion engines and auxiliary diesel generating sets.
