KOCHI: Healthcare provider Kerala Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), has announced its plans to open its second hospital in the city with the investment of Rs 30 crore.
Dr M I Sahadulla, KIMS Chairman and Managing Director, said, “The KIMS group has been in the forefront in pioneering the concept of quality health care at affordable costs.’’
The new planned hospital named as KIMS Hospital and Surgical Centre (KHSC), would be a 125 bed multi specialty hospital aimed to deliver top class health care with the group philosophy of quality, team work, patient safety and transparency.
The hospital is scheduled to be inaugurated on June 26 in the presence of state and Union Ministers and other prominent personalities.
The hospital will include the departments of general medicine, cardiology, critical care, orthopedics and sports medicine, gastroenterology, neurology, neurosurgery, nephrology, urology, surgery, ENT, cosmetic and plastic surgery, dentistry, obsterics and gynecology, pediatrics, physiogheraphy and nutrition and dietetics.
