Karbonn announces indigenously-designed Agnee tablet with Android 4.0

NEW DELHI: Domestic handset maker Karbonn has announced the launch of Ice Cream Sandwich-powered Agnee tablet in alliance with Innominds.
 
The Agnee tablet is based on a Qualcomm reference design and is expected to be available in country before Diwali at price-tag under Rs 10,000. However, the company has not revealed the exact pricing or availability details of the trablet.
 
Karbonn Angee features Qualcomm MSM722A S1 processor, 7-inch WVGA display, 1.3MP front camera, 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal storage. The tablet also comes with 3G and voice-calling support.
 
The tablet also allows access in 22 different Indian languages, and comes bundled with a host of India related content, claims the company.
HDMI out, Android 4.0 and 4,000 mAh battery are the other specifications of the tablet.
