NEW DELHI: The Jammu & Kashmir is likely to announce its new Agriculture Policy soon. The new policy will bring back its farm products in domestic and international markets.
Mr Ghulam Hassan Mir, state Agriculture Minister, said, “We are going to announce our new Agriculture Policy in the winter session of the State Assembly.”
With the special focus to agriculture and horticulture, the minister disclosed that the state government is investing Rs 376 crore at restoring the pristine glory of 'Kashmir Saffron' and make it a reputed brand in the international market.
