JIPMER announces neurobionics workshop for 2013

MUMBAI: Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER), Pondicherry has announced a three-day workshop on 'Neurobionics in clinical neurology’. The workshop shall commence on 15 February in 2013. RWTH Aachen and University of Göttingen, Forschungszentrum Julich, Germany shall conduct the workshop.
The prime focus of the three-day workshop shall remain the education of new inductees in the neurobionics segment in the country. Also on cards are plans to promote research in the sector on a self-sustainable basis. Professionals and researchers in the healthcare sectors are targeted groups that the workshop could appeal to.
Chief participants in the neurobionic workshop are Dr Asokan Thondiyath, Prof. Dr Sunil K Narayan(JIPMER) Dr. Klaus Mathiak, RWTH Aachen University, Dr. Peter A. Tass from Forschungszentrum Jülich and Dr. Michael A Nitsche and Dr. Walter Paulus from University of Göttingen.
