CHENNAI: Supported by government agencies like TNEB (Tamil Nadu Electricity Board), TEDA (Tamil Nadu Energy Development Agency), Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Industries, NSIC, and others, the Chennai centre of Indian Society of Lighting Engineers (ISLE) is organizing biggest ever Light Fair titled Light India International 2011 at Chennai Trade Centre, Nandambakkam, from 4 to 7 March 2011.
ISLE had earlier organized four lighting specialty trade shows in New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Indore. Now for the first time it has chosen Chennai as the venue, keeping in view vibrant economic pace of activity in the city as well as the growth potential. The Chennai fair is expected to be participated by more than 250 manufacturers including 80 from overseas mainly from China, Germany, Taiwan, Italy, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, UAE, USA.
Electricians Meet, Architects' Association Meet and IndiaMart Award presentation are slated for the third day, i.e., on March 6.
