NEW DELHI: Indian Oil Corporation Ltd has announced that it will be commissioning styrene butadiene rubber manufacturing plant at Panipat through its joint venture company Indian Synthetic Rubber Ltd by August this year, Panabaaka Lakshmi, Minister of State for Petroleum & Natural Gas has stated.
The Oil Ministry has maintained that the plant is expected to produce 120,000 tonnes of styrene butadiene rubber annually.
She further highlighted that the plan will be creating employment opportunities for 250 people including permanent and contractual employees.
