BANGALORE: Infosys Technologies has unveiled a new solution 'Infosys Cloud Ecosystem Hub' which will help the firms manage their cloud applications and infrastructure via a single platform.
Cloud computing gives permission to the data storage and access to software on a pay-per-use model, which will help the firms to lower the costs as they won't invest in infrastructure.
Infosys Vice President and Global Head (Cloud) Vishnu Bhat said, “After 5-7 years, 60% of the IT workload is expected to be on the cloud, which is a mix of public and private cloud. The solution is aimed to help companies manage fragmented IT environment, providing a unified platform and seamless experience.”
With the help of this solution, businesses can step up time-to-market of cloud services by close to 40%, bring improvement in output by close to 20% and also attain cost-savings of nearly 30%.
The firm will aim at both new and present clients for the solution, mainly in sectors such as financial services, lifesciences, retail, manufacturing, energy and utilities.
