MUMBAI: IndusInd Bank has recently started its first Currency Chest in Mumbai – at the Bank's Thane Branch. The new Currency Chest was launched by Shekhar Bhatnagar, General Manager, Reserve Bank of India, Belapur in the presence of Romesh Sobti, MD & CEO, IndusInd Bank Ltd and other senior officials of the Bank.
IndusInd Bank Limited, a Mumbai based new generation Indian bank, was founded in the year 1994. The bank provides commercial, transactional and electronic banking products and services. IndusInd Bank which was incorporated in April 1994 by Dr. Manmohan Singh, the Union Finance Minister of that time is the first among the new-generation private banks of India.
The bank specializes in retail banking services and constantly upgrades its support systems by introducing newer technologies to meet the varying needs of the customers.
