India's plastic industry needs to invest in Hamriya Free Zone

NEW DELHI: An Indian business delegate visited UAE's Hamriyah Free Zone Authority, or HFZA, and met with Rashid Al Leem, Director General of Sharjah Department of Seaports and Customs and HFZA, to boost bilateral business partnership and investment promotion.

The delegation has been led by Manish Dedhia secretary of All India Plastic Manufacturers Association (AIPMA) and also other members.

Al Leem spoke to the delegate about HFZA's achievements and also future plans, consisting the role played by HFZA as a booster that leads to Sharjah and UAE's economic growth and prosperity.

Hamriyah Free Zone works with a special emphasis on the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) sector. Al Leem said, “By easing SMEs access to finance, markets and entrepreneurship policies, HFZA will help strengthen competitiveness of businesses and create new jobs, and ultimately reinforce the growth potential of the economies concerned.”

AIPMA is an apex body representing the Indian plastic industry.

AIPMA Secretary appreciated Director General of HFZA for offering insight into the services and infrastructure facilities.
