JAIPUR: The Indian Institute of Health Management Research (IIHMR) will commence a management development programme on 'marketing for healthcare services - transforming healthcare performance through healthcare marketing excellence' here. This training programme is slated to be held from December 13-15, 2012,

This training programme has been found to be useful for the marketing managers engaged in the medical device, biotechnology and pharmaceutical sector.

The programme aims to help participants welcome the healthcare market along with the requirements of the patients in developing quality products and services.

Prof PR Sodani, dean (training), IIHMR said, “In this three-day training programme, pharmaceutical or medical researchers will get to learn to apply tools and techniques of strategic marketing to healthcare sector. They will also be exposed to generate leadership ideas and to develop orientation to design practical solution which is essential to engage customers and to keep the attention of prospective customers.”
