NEW DELHI: India's coffee exports during the crop year (October–September) 2011-12 have witnessed 8.54% decline to 3.21 lakh tonnes as against exports of 3.51 lakh tonnes registered last year.
As per the Coffee Board data, at the end of September 28, the unit value realisation of Indian coffee climbed 12.03% to Rs 1.49 lakh per tonne as compared to 2011's realisation of Rs 1.33 lakh per tonne.
The coffee exports in rupee terms has risen 2.12% to Rs 4,800 crore as compared Rs 4,700 crore in 2010-11. In regard to dollar realisation, it slipped 7.10% to $955 million as compared to $1,028 million.
