India Semiconductor Association welcomes solar project policy guidelines

BANGALORE: India Semiconductor Association(ISA) has welcomed the policy guidelines with open arms for grid connected solar projects under the Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission (JNNSM).

The ministry of power and ministry of new and renewable energy here on sunday, released the guidelines for selection of new grid connected solar power projects under the JNNSM.

India Semiconductor Association, the apex trade body representing the Indian Electronic Systems Design & Manufacturing (ESDM) believes that these guidelines would give impetus to the growth of the domestic solar photo voltaic industry.

The collaborative efforts of industrial bodies andGovernment of India to promote the solar photo voltaic power projects are expected to yield positive results.
