India, Pakistan pitch for adoption of steps to improve bilateral relations

MALE: Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde along with his Pakistan's counterpart Rehman Malik have decided to adopt more initiatives and steps to bring improvement in the bilateral relations.

Both the leaders, who are slated to attend SAARC Home/Interior Ministers meeting, met yesterday and deliberated on a series of issues.

After the successful conclusion of the talks, both the ministers announced that they have invited each other to visit India and Pakistan.

Malik also invited Indian Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh to visit Pakistan. Both the nations jointly pitched for improving the relations between the neighbours that will enhance bilateral trade.
