NEW DELHI: India's trade with Latin American countries may reach $50 billion by 2014 with the help of strong economic growth in both the regions, said PHD chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The ambassadors of nations consisting Chile, Colombia and Mexico demanded investment from India and also held discussions on trade and business opportunities available in their countries for Indian business community.
This information was given by PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry Senior Vice President Suman Jyoti Khaitan.
He also said that the Latin American region's trade with India has been low until the starting of the last decade. The trade levels have gone up with the help of positive initiatives adopted by administrations of both sides.
